The hearing is an opportunity for community members to provide input on the environmental document and preliminary design plans for the proposed roadway reconstruction.

The project aims to:

• Reduce crashes due to the above average crash rate.

• Improve the Level of Service (LOS) for the corridor to at least a LOS C rating.

• Connect noncontiguous sidewalk segments and improve pedestrian connectivity.

• Upgrade drainage systems in the project area.
